The Taunton in Bloom committee will be organizing a children’s painting competition again this year. To join with the South Western region of the Britain in Bloom organization - The theme will be “Blooming Wild”.

Children all over Taunton are invited to create paintings of the wildlife they see in their gardens, parks or in their school grounds. This may be wild flowers, insects or animals or a combination of things they observe in their environment.

The entries may be from individuals or school curriculum projects. The paintings must not be any larger than A4 size and must be done using any paint medium. (Sorry no collage)

The following details must be attached to the reverse of the paintings – Full name, age (D.O.B), address, postcode, home telephone number, school attended and school telephone number.

The closing date for any applications is July 1st 2008. The presentation of prizes will take place at a later date (tbc)
