This year when you plan your garden, try to include some fruit and vegetables as well as flowers. Of course this is not compulsory, but as one of the aims of the Taunton in Bloom committee, we would like to encourage gardeners to grow some of their own produce.

We would also like to see evidence of good gardening practice, for example:- recycling, composting and the use of water butts, where possible.

The closing date for receipt of all entries will be 30th June 2008

Use of artificial flowers and foliage will result in disqualification

Certificates will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places
